An exciting opportunity had arisen for an internal account manager who is able to Pro-actively manage a set of accounts and new business prospects to generate, develop and close net new business and retain existing renewal business by providing best fit, best value solutions.

The right candidate will have a proven track record in Identifying opportunities for field based BDMs to manage and close (dependent upon value and skill sets required to win business).
Other duties include: -

• Build an understanding, rapport and regular contact strategy with allocated customers and prospects (and document using appropriate business tools and systems)  to gain an understanding of :
o Business Drivers and Challenges impacting IT
o key decision makers
o addressable spend and short, medium and long term IT plans, strategy and projects
o Break Fix, Maintenance and Support renewal dates and competitive information
In order to create and execute account development plans that drive long term sustainable relationships, pipeline and order-book.
• Manage and process received orders, ensuring all relevant information is collated and that orders are processed in a timely manner either on CRM, Contact Central and then through to Purchase Contract Admin where applicable.
• Pro-actively manage and control the submission of quotes, either via instruction from the Account Director or independently, and for renewals at least 90 days ahead of term dates.
• Manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information to allow forecasting, status reporting and marketing / competitor intelligence.
• Actively work with internal and external (partner) resource to obtain best fit solution and pricing for solutions and quotes.
